Bleed Safe of Lane County
We are a non-profit organization, that teaches hemorrhage control techniques to our community, with a primary focus on our K-12 educators.
Our Beliefs
We believe that by empowering our community with the knowledge of hemorrhage control and making hemorrhage control kits readily available, we can prevent more trauma related deaths.

How You Can Help Save a Life?
With trauma being the leading cause of death in persons under 45 years old, you could help us make Lane County a Bleed Safe Community by attending a class, purchasing a trauma kit, and/or donating.
Attending a Class
Employers wanting to make their workplace Bleed Safe should go to the contact us page and submit their information. As a general rule we will prioritize central Lane County schools for instruction.
Purchasing a trauma Kit
As part of a Bleed Safe Community it is important to make hemorrhage control kits readily available to the public.
We are able to provide recommendations on equipment that may be best suited in your own kit.
Donate
Because Bleed Safe Lane County operates solely by donations, we rely on funding from our community members. Your monetary donation will go to providing hemorrhage control kits to our local educators whom have received training.
